Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Proper Installation
Ensure the refrigerator is placed in a cool, well-ventilated room and the air openings are not obstructed. Leave sufficient space around the appliance for proper air circulation.
Temperature Setting
Adjust the thermostat to maintain an optimal temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. Avoid setting the temperature too low to prevent unnecessary energy consumption.
Regular Cleaning
Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning. Clean the interior with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda. Clean the exterior with warm water and a little washing-up liquid. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
Defrosting Procedure
Regularly defrost the freezer compartment when frost has reached a thickness of 4mm. Use the ice scraper provided. Avoid using sharp objects to remove frost.
Condenser Maintenance
Once or twice a year, dust the condenser (black grill) and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush or vacuum cleaner to maintain efficiency.
